The SCONA committee consists of the following subcommittees:

    • Internal Marketing: The Internal Marketing Subcommittee is given the opportunity to interact with members from various organizations, colleges, and just day-to-day interaction all over campus. Members of the Internal Marketing committee will market the conference to students all over campus.
    • External Marketing: External Marketing has the opportunity to represent SCONA on a statewide, national, and global scale. The SCONA conference draws in people from all over and the External Marketing gets in contact with and helps coordinate with these students and faculty with their participation with SCONA.
    • Technology: The Technology Subcommittee is for those people who enjoy website design, communication management, cameras (video and photography), along with anything else from Photoshop to basic technological management. This committee is really looking for people with computer/media backgrounds, but also is really interested in people with an interest in learning more about the various
      aspects of technology.
  • Development team
    • Development: SCONA Development is the major fundraising and resource-securing wing of SCONA. Through foundation grants, corporate gifts, and individual contributions, SCONA must find the resources and funding to finance a world-class conference. Members of the Development Subcommittee are given the tools and avenues through which to pursue funds and resources, as well as the opportunities to foster leadership development.
    • Legacy: The Legacy Committee is responsible for communicating and fostering relationships with SCONA’s alumni community.
